Christmas Review

This Christmas was our third together, Scott and I, and the first with our baby Violett. I tried to surprise Scott with a Wii, but of course he had already guessed that he was going to be getting it. We've been playing it non-stop since! I got what I wanted too! A cool level and "the Griddler"! All in all the day was great! I even crocheted the stockings this year too. It was down to the wire, but by the time Santa was on his way they were both done. Whew, 2 am is not a time to be madly crocheting on Christmas Day.

Violett had a good time visiting all the family and Deb and Co. came over for Turkey Curry Buffet on Boxing Day. Tons of fun for everyone!

Violett vs the Sweet Potato

A few days after her first cookie, I decided to try out some sweet potatoes on Violett. She was such a good girl and ate the whole bowl full! The next day I gave her some more sweet potatoes and she ate them like they were going out of style! I took these pictures as evidence of Violett vs the Sweet Potato. I'm not sure who won. While she was eating she sneezed a few times and sprayed me fully with the contents of her mouth.
We tried bananas today. The look on her face was priceless! I think she was expecting more sweet potatoes, and when they tasted different, she nearly cried.

Violett had her first cookie yesterday. She loved it and ate quite a bit for her first time.

Halloween

This Halloween was the first for our little girl, Violett. We had a good time tonight. We decided to stay at home and hand out candy to the kids who came to the door.

We bought her a tootsie roll outfit, but she doesn't like to wear it :(. I'll have to put her in it again and take some pictures. She is just too cute!

Being that I am abstaining from as much junk food and candy that I can, I gave the leftovers to my nephews across the street. They were very happy to get a big bag of mini chocolate bars. Of course I kept a small container for my husband, Scott. I am proud to say that I haven't had one piece.
