Sorry about the unsightly problem. It seems like it is an attempt at sympathetic magic - you could drop the 'sym' if it makes you feel better.
It could be worse. Given that our side of the family is basically Scots, he could end up worshipping an oak tree or hockey stick. He could even paint himself blue like the ancient Scotti or Druids or Celts or whatever. (At least blue is the Canucks colour!)

I guess it is a good thing that he was able to shave it now right! I should totally figure out how to get that video from the zoo to you and then you can post it!!!! Was totally awesome!!!!!
